NYHSW is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of New York youth aged 8 to 18 through fitness, wellness, and sports programs. We aim to provide a holistic approach to youth development by offering educational resources, services, and events that empower parents, kids, and coaches. Join us in creating a healthier and more active community.
Who is NYHSW?
NYHSW provides an inclusive environment full of educational resources and exercise and wellness initiatives to help improve the health outcomes of our community.

Health
Exercise is crucial for youth health and development as it strengthens bones and muscles, improves cardiovascular health, helps maintain a healthy weight, and reduces the risk of chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes. Additionally, physical activity promotes the development of social skills through teamwork and provides a foundation for a lifelong healthy lifestyle.

NYHSW was founded to provide exercise in an inclusive environment to help make our community a healthier place. NYHSW will offer exercise sessions for the youth of our community regardless of skill or ability, including adaptive exercise sessions for children with special needs.

Sports
Sports are vital for youth development because they promote a range of physical, mental, and social benefits. Our goal at NYHSW is to give your child the resources, tools, support, and services so they may become the best version of themselves. Our sports program offers a variety of options for all skills and ages, advanced coaching for better success in the game, and training resources for better success in life!

NYHSW will offer sports teams for children of all abilities in baseball, soccer, and basketball. Each child will receive expert coaching on all aspects of the game and have an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of sports participation on and off the field.

Wellness
Adolescence is a key period for forming lifelong healthy habits in physical activity, nutrition, and sleep, which are essential for long-term physical health and preventing chronic diseases. Wellness provides a critical foundation for positive mental health by building resilience, emotional regulation, and stress management skills needed to navigate the increased pressures and decision-making of the teen years.

NYHSW will offer wellness initiatives such as CPR & 1st Aid training, yoga, mindfulness, and stress management in a supportive environment that will help adolescents develop critical interpersonal skills for future success and a foundation for adulthood.
